The North Face is a known brand of winter and hiking wear. In this project I created two designs of a landing page for their online shop, one for desktop and the other for mobile, optimizing the elements, the sections and the layout to best fit the screen. I drew inspiration from the existing visual style of The North Face’s website: with the font choice, the style of the sections, and the atmosphere.
This project was created as an exercise for no profit.
The Colors
The bold color of the coats guided me to section the page with strong, solid blocks of color, that would pop against the pale blue of the illustrated mountains. The yellow would accompany the viewer along the whole page, while the red would be restricted only to the form and draw attention to it.
